A big update was made to the calendar, the fourth post to the mailing list was sent, and the Google calendar was updated. The list has been expanded to 130 shows/auditions which currently includes about four months worth.

A couple shows have been added to the list and the third edition of the mailer just went out. I'll update the Google calendar next.
The list now has some cute little icons next to some of the shows:
- coupon available
- featured
- tickets available online
Let me know if you find these icons helpful or not. Also let me know if you your show should have an icon next to it, i.e. you have a coupon availble online, would like theatredate.com to host a coupon for you, have online ticket sales, or think your show is super extra special.

OK, everything should be working now. Sorry for the outage. There may be some continued maintenance requiring server reboots. I'll post here again when all is clear.

The Chico calendar is down right now. I'm working on getting it back up ASAP.

There was a big update on December 15th and I am working on another update today. Whenever I do a big update I send it out to the mailing list. If you would like to receive updates in your e-mail you can subscribe here.

Don't be fooled. This is not an online pick-up bar for thespians. TheatreDate.com is quite simply a list of dates with the performances and auditions of every theater in Chico, Paradise and Oroville attached to them (plus links to the presenting theater). It.s clean and comprehensive, and would be a perfect one-stop shopping destination if the ability to purchase tickets to every performance was included (instead of having to follow links). Maybe A.C.T. (Alliance of Chico Theaters) could team up with it and help bring the whole production together?!

A Media Center has been added to the site. This will be a home to press releases and announcements.
Added more performances and auditions and updated the Google Calendar.

I've imported the current Chico-area Theatre Date iCal file into Google Calendar. I haven't messed with Google Calendar much yet but it looks pretty cool, espcially the new Search Public Events feature. You can check it out by clicking on this button:

The initial list of shows for the Chico area has been entered with all of the shows and auditions I could find for October and November. If anything was missed let me know about it. Future updates to the show/audition list will likely happen monthly, or as submitted.
