What is TheatreDate.com?

Since October 2006 TheatreDate.com has been the comprehensive online calendar of upcoming community theatre performances, events, and auditions in Chico, Paradise, and Oroville. This service has been provided at no cost to the local theatres and community, and has provided valuable exposure for the area's performing arts.

What's next for TheatreDate.com?

There is plenty of room for expansion of TheatreDate.com. TheatreDate.com has the potential to become a portal for performing arts in Northern California and beyond. Some ideas for expansion include reviews, forums, extended performance and theatre information, and ticket sales.

How can I help?

Until now TheatreDate.com has survived by keeping costs to a bare minimum. Adding features to the site will increase operation costs. This cannot happen without financial help from the community. TheatreDate.com needs a small group of sponsors to fund expansion of the site.

Sponsorship of TheatreDate.com will benefit performing arts in the Chico area. All contributions will go directly to expanding and promoting the site. Promotion of the site will target local residents and visitors to the Chico area.

Sponsors will be featured on the site and in TheatreDate.com's newsletter. The site and newsletter currently reach over 1,500 visitors/recipients every month, entirely through word of mouth. This number should increase dramatically with the expansion of the site and targeted advertising.
